Hubballi, Oct 24: Passengers travelling on the Mangaluru–Bengaluru and Karwar routes are advised to take note: the South Western Railway has announced an extension of temporary train cancellations owing to ongoing electrification work between Sakleshpura and Subrahmanya Road stations.

Railway officials confirmed that from November 2 to December 15, a daily four-hour line block will be imposed to facilitate the crucial infrastructure work. Consequently, several express services operating on this stretch will remain cancelled for an extended period.
