ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The City of Albuquerque on Friday will host an event aimed at connecting volunteers with opportunities that match their interests and skills.
The Civic Connections Volunteer Fest is free and open to the public and will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Albuquerque Museum.
More than 30 city departments and local nonprofit partners will participate in the event. The event will also feature a raffle, activities, and networking spaces for volunteers, community members, and coordinators to share ideas and experiences. Attendees can also learn more about the Civic Connections Ambassadors program, a civic leadership and community engagement program for residents who want to deepen their connection to city government.
