Maggie Baugh’s friend and fellow musician Alexandra Kay is coming to her defense after rumors surrounding Keith Urban ran rampant amid his divorce from Nicole Kidman.

“Honestly, I was heartbroken for them because the media scrutiny is insane and the things that people say … They’re like, stirring up rumors about Maggie Baugh, and I’m like, ‘She’s a good friend of mine and I know that’s absolutely not true,'” Kay, 34, told Taste of Country Nights on Wednesday, October 22, about the guitarist.

Kay confirmed Baugh, 25, is happily in a relationship, adding, “I’ve met her boyfriend, and she’s very happy, and she has nothing to do with that whole [Kidman and Urban] relationship.”
