Colombo: Unseasonal rain had the final say in a cricket game yet again in Colombo, as the 25th match of the ICC Women’s World Cup clash between Sri Lanka and Pakistan was abandoned after just 4.2 overs of play at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Friday night.
Persistent showers forced the players off the field with Pakistan at 18 without loss, and no further play was possible, resulting in both teams sharing a point each.
