LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Warren County Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will shorten its office hours on October 28 to honor former County Clerk Pamela Vogel. The DMV announced on Friday that the office will be closed from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. so staff can attend Vogel's services.

Vogel died on October 13 at the age of 75 and devoted 48 years of her life to working hard for Warren County. Interim County Clerk Carrie Black said Vogel was an exceptional public servant with distinction.

"Her commitment to the community and her leadership left a profound mark on our staff," Black said. "We are granting this time for our employees to honor her memory and support her family during this difficult time."
