Kim Jong-un said on Thursday that North Korea ‘s military cooperation with Russia would “advance non-stop”, as he broke ground on a memorial for the North Korean soldiers who have lost their lives fighting alongside Russia in Ukraine.
More than 10,000 North Korean soldiers are believed to have been deployed in the war, with South Korea’s intelligence agency estimating in September that about 2,000 had been killed.
Pyongyang has also supplied Moscow with artillery munitions and missiles to aid its war efforts. New Feature
