The Taco Spot, a Worcester taco restaurant, is opening their new Shrewsbury location on the last week of October.

The restaurant will hold a soft opening on Oct. 25, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., according to its Facebook page. A limited menu will be offered during the soft opening date. The restaurant’s grand opening will happen on Oct. 28, from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., the Facebook post reads.

“Thank you all for your amazing support,” reads the post. “We can’t wait to welcome you!”

Stephanie Ortiz and Alex Ortiz, owners of the Taco Spot, previously told MassLive plans for a second location had been in the works since March.

The goal for the husband-and-wife duo is to expand their taco restaurant to other places, including Fitchburg, Webster and, someday, Boston.
