EVERETT — Snohomish County deputies pursued two suspects for allegedly attempting to steal a trailer Thursday morning, only to end up pulling one from the Stillaguamish River.
Around 8:45 a.m. Thursday, deputies responded to reports of two suspects, one wearing a ski mask, who were attempting to steal a parked trailer outside a home in the 17000 block of 120th Place Northeast, said Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Courtney O’Keefe in an email.
The owner of the trailer attempted to stop the theft in progress, O’Keefe said. In response, the suspects allegedly rammed their van into the victim’s truck, resulting in damage to the front end of the truck and minor injuries to the victim, she said.
The suspects fled the scene as the victim chased them in his truck before returning
