NACOGDOCHES, Texas — Police have identified the suspect they've been looking for in connection to the triple homicide in Nacogdoches as a 17-year-old.
The Nacogdoches Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for Hector Cuarenta, 17, of Nacogdoches, for a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Police confirmed the warrant stems from the three people shot to death on Hackberry Street Friday in Nacogdoches.
He is considered armed and dangerous, and in the state of Texas, the legal of an adult is 17.
Dequavious LeCharles Brooks 17, of Nacogdoches, Edward Alejandro Rivera, 18, also of Nacogdoches, and a third unidentified person were killed in the shooting in the 1000 block of Hackberry Street around 10:30 a.m.
