CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A Cincinnati man was arrested and accused of attempting to gouge a trooper’s eyes out while being apprehended, according to Indiana State Police.
Gregory C. Lucas, 20, has been charged with resisting law enforcement, battery on law enforcement, dealing cocaine and attempted robbery after he messaged a person selling a van on Facebook Marketplace, offering to buy the vehicle with $4,500, cocaine and marijuana, ISP said in a post.
The seller contacted troopers after agreeing to meet at an Amoco gas station in St. Leon on Sept. 17. Two plainclothes state police were on scene waiting for Lucas’ arrival.
ISP officers noticed Lucas roaming around in a black ski mask, black jacket and black fleece in 90-degree weather, and rummaging through items before troopers approached
