A strong 2025 season has helped ensure two key members of the Toronto Blue Jays organization will be sticking around.

After a rough go in 2024, there was plenty of chatter that not only manager John Schneider, but GM Ross Atkins and team president Mark Shapiro were all on the hot seat heading into the 2025 season. A 94-68 record, paired with the organization’s first World Series appearance since 1993, has changed their future drastically.

Schneider, who was named as the Blue Jays’ permanent manager in October of 2022, is currently in the final year of his contract. The same goes for Shapiro, who has served as the Blue Jays president since 2015.
