Bo Bichette will be available to play in the World Series after missing the previous two rounds with a right-knee injury.

The Blue Jays infielder has been out since Sept. 6 when he sprained his knee while sliding into home plate during a game against the New York Yankees. He has spent the last six-plus weeks going through an extensive rehab program in an attempt to return.

Initially there had been hope Bichette would be back for the American League championship series against the Seattle Mariners. He went through several drills on the eve of that series and appeared to suffer a setback while he was rounding second base. Baseball Opinion
