The NAACP Indiana State Conference today launched a campaign to help increase school attendance rates for youth, noting that absenteeism can hinder academic achievement.

The campaign launch comes as the civil rights organization hosts a state conference in downtown Fort Wayne, designed to help equip members from 21 chapters throughout Indiana for its advocacy work.
