New Delhi, Oct 24: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on October 24 reviewed the Indian Army’s operational preparedness during the Army Commanders’ Conference in Jaisalmer and his visit to the forward areas of Tanot and Laungewala in Rajasthan.
Commending the armed forces for their courage “from the icy heights of Siachen to the deserts of Rajasthan,” he said their discipline and determination form the bedrock of India’s national security. Addressing the Army Commanders, Singh described Operation Sindoor as an embodiment of India’s military prowess, moral strength, and strategic clarity ,“a symbol of the nation’s courage and restraint.” He said the operation reflected “New India’s Defence Doctrine,” which is guided by both resolve and readiness to act on its own terms against terrorism.
