Former Georgia football tight end Arik Gilbert was arrested in Savannah Thursday on shoplifting and obstruction charges.
He has a bond set for $3,500, and it is not known if it was posted.
Now at Savannah State, it's not the tight end's first run-in with the law.
Here's what to know about the former five-star tight end.
Arik Gilbert arrests
Gilbert has been arrested numerous times and had a checkered past from his time at LSU, Georgia and Nebraska.
Gilbert plead no contest to charges of burglary, which was amended to trespassing and criminal mischief, in Lincoln, Nebraska, in 2024 at a liquor and vape shop.
