Tomago Aluminium (Tomago) is a cornerstone of grid stability, a strategic anchor for NSW's ambitious energy transition and a critical enabler of Australia's industrial sovereignty under the Future Made in Australia initiative .

Australia's energy transition is accelerating, and nowhere is this more evident than in our own backyard. At the heart of this transformation lies Tomago , one of the country's largest electricity consumers and a linchpin in the stability of the power grid.

It operates continuously, using approximately 12 per cent of NSW's electricity. This massive, predictable demand acts as a buffer for grid fluctuations, as coal-fired generation retires, and renewables ramp up.

Unlike intermittent solar and wind, Tomago's load can be modulated in real time, offering demand
