CHANDLER, Ariz. - Three teenagers who allegedly caused thousands of dollars worth of damage at an elementary school in Chandler are accused of multiple charges.
The backstory:
The incident happened on Oct. 15 at Conley Elementary School near Dobson and Frye roads.
Chandler Police say surveillance video showed multiple suspects entering a classroom and smashing computers and tablets. The suspects also allegedly broke two storage sheds and scattered sports equipment across the school's playground and rooftop.
Damage at the school is estimated to be around $5,000.
Update:
On Nov. 13, police said three teens, a 16-year-old and two 14-year-olds, were charged with burglary, criminal damage and interference with an education institution.
