INGLEWOOD – Fire crews are battling a commercial fire in Inglewood Friday morning.

The fire reportedly broke out at a commercial building in the 4300 block of W. Century Blvd. at 10:29, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Rescue ambulances were summoned to the scene, but a department spokesman had no immediate word on injuries.

A firefighter suffered minor injuries when the roof caved in, according to ABC7.

Firefighters were battling the blaze in defensive mode, pouring water on the flames from outside the structure, according to a spokesman, who said it was unclear what was housed in the building.

The fire appears to be centered at the Hollywood Inn Express hotel located at 4300 W. Century Blvd.
