OTTAWA COUNTY, MI -Three roundabouts are coming to several townships across Ottawa County next year.
The Ottawa County Road Commission (OCRC) announced plans to begin construction projects at intersections in Grand Haven, Georgetown and Olive townships.
Although OCRC Road Engineer Brandt Homik could not specify the cost of each project, he said they intend to start the work on the first roundabout in May 2026.
“They are set up as three separate projects, but we intend to bundle two of them just for ease, so not all three are going on at the same time,” he said. “We have a whole list of intersections deemed prime candidates for the placement of a roundabout... We’re just starting with these three, and we’re going to continue in the future doing that work.”
