WYSOX, Pa. (WETM) – One person is dead after an early morning crash that occurred in Wysox Township involving two vehicles, as stated in a release from the Pennsylvania State Police.
Officials say the crash was reported on Friday, Oct. 24, on State Route 6 at about 3:15 a.m. The crash involved a sedan and a tractor-trailer.
Officials say the crash occurred when the driver of the sedan, who was traveling west on SR6, navigated a right-hand curve and crossed the double yellow line into the other lane, colliding with the tractor-trailer head-on.
After the collision, officials say that both vehicles caught on fire, resting in the eastbound lane.
