A 36-year-old man has been arrested in the fatal shooting of his brother earlier this week in the 500 block of Dorian Drive in Chester.

Kyle Rhyanes was was remanded to the George W. Hill Correctional Facility without bail on Friday in the fatal shooting of Corey Rhyanes, 35, who was found dead by police with a neck wound on Wednesday evening.

Police were sent to the block of a domestic-related incident shortly after 6:30 p.m.

Interim Chester Police Commissioner Katrina Blackwell gave this account:

Upon arrival, officers heard an additional gunshot and immediately upgraded the call to an active shooter incident.

Officers located two individuals on the ground outside the residence, one suffering from a gunshot wound to a hand and Kyle Rhyanes, who was unharmed. Officers safely relocate
