ANTIOCH, Tenn. (WKRN) — If you're looking for a way to clean out your home while helping the community, a cleanup event in Antioch may be just the ticket.
The area's beautification manager is hosting the cleanup event Saturday, Oct. 25. You can bring your unwanted belongings to dump or shred, as well as to donate.
The event will be set up in the parking lot of Antioch High School on Hobson Pike from 9 a.m. until noon.
Organizers said you can stop by and trash any non-hazardous junk, but some items will need to be recycled. Those items include anything made of metal or glass, electronics, plastic containers, tires, cardboard, ink cartridges, and batteries.
