VANCOUVER, Wash. ( KPTV /Gray News) - Police are investigating a murder-suicide at an area 7-Eleven where a worker was shot and killed.

Deputies and emergency crews responded to a 7-Eleven on Highway 99 after reports of a shooting on Oct. 17.

When first responders arrived, they found two men inside the store with gunshot wounds. Both were taken to a hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

According to the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office, 26-year-old Ryan Taylor, of Vancouver, shot and killed 37-year-old Pardeep Kumar, also of Vancouver, before shooting himself.

Investigators said Kumar worked at the store and believed he had no connection to Taylor.

The major crimes unit is leading the investigation. Officials said evidence indicated the shooting was a murder-suicide.
