Last year, Equinox made a cut nobody saw coming.

The luxury gym brand stripped Kiehl’s products from its spas and locker rooms. And many members were, reportedly , in a state of mourning.

For years, Equinox regulars had sworn by the cult-favorite skincare line. Some even admitted to stealing a tub or two to offset the club’s sky-high membership fees. When Kiehl’s was abruptly replaced with products by Australian brand Grown Alchemist , gym-goers were up in arms. Many members posted to social media, and some pondered canceling their memberships after the news came out.
