KINSMAN, Ohio - An old fashioned fiber arts and primitives shop is now open in Kinsman.

Whiskey and Wool offers shoppers goods and supplies ranging from punch needling and cross-stitching to rug hooking. The shop cut the ribbon Friday at its historic location — a Kinsman home built back in 18-94. The property's barn is also under renovation and will provide the shop with additional space to host classes or gatherings.

Shop Owner Stacey Banning is no stranger to the neighborhood, and says there's nowhere else in Trumbull County that she'd rather open up shop.

"I was born and raised in this area, it's home. It's my community. I couldn't think of any other place I'd rather be," Banning told 21 News.

Banning encourages anyone interested in fiber-work to pay a visit to her shop.
