(CNN)– Southwest Airlines is offering customers a chance to surf the net while soaring in the sky.
The Dallas-based carrier now has free in-flight wi-fi for passengers who are “Rapid Rewards” members.
T-mobile is providing the service and officials say it will be available “from takeoff to landing”.
This comes as Southwest is making major changes to its operations, including the introduction of new fare tiers and checked bag fees.
In 2026 it plans to unveil assigned seating.
