Mark Kuhlkin quit bowling 2 1/2 years ago for several familiar reasons. The 68-year-old Schenectady native and longtime Price Chopper employee was suffering from numerous age-related maladies, and the veteran scratch bowler wasn’t thrilled that he just couldn’t compete the way he used to.
It looked like Kuhlkin would have to settle for watching his daughter Liz, a PWBA standout and one of the area’s best all-time bowlers, continue to pile up her plethora of accomplishments.
