Ruben Amorim has hit back at Arne Slot, insisting he ‘doesn’t care’ what the Liverpool boss thinks about Manchester United’s tactics.

The Red Devils conjured up a brilliant 2-1 Premier League win over their fierce rivals at Anfield last week thanks to Harry Maguire’s late goal.

It emerged after the match that Liverpool broke Premier League rules as they went searching for an equaliser – but the Reds avoided a fine.

Slot was frustrated that United ‘had a low block and played a lot of long balls’ during the game but Amorim has no interest in what he had to say.

Speaking ahead of United’s next match against Brighton, Amorim said: ‘I don’t care what Slot is saying, what people are saying about our team.
