GUERNSEY COUNTY, Ohio – Eldon “JR” Church, 39, was taken into custody Friday, October 24, by the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office. Church had previously fled from deputies on October 21 during an attempted arrest in the Senecaville area.

He was found and arrested without further incident. Video of the arrest was captured during Friday’s operation.

Church is now being held in the Noble County Jail on warrants connected to an ongoing theft investigation spanning both Guernsey and Noble counties. Detectives say Church and 41-year-old Michael Addison are involved in a series of thefts from homes, garages, and properties across the region.
