The Fall Classic kicks off tonight as the LA Dodgers roll into Toronto to face the Blue Jays in Game 1 of the World Series. Blake Snell (3–0, 0.86 ERA) gets the ball for L.A., looking to continue his dominant postseason run. The veteran lefty has been nearly untouchable in October, racking up 28 strikeouts while allowing just two earned runs across three starts.

Opposing him is Toronto’s young right-hander Chase Yesavage (2–1, 4.20 ERA), who’s shown flashes of brilliance in his first postseason but will face his toughest test yet against a deep Dodgers lineup. The Rogers Centre will be rocking as the Jays make their first World Series appearance in decades, hoping to set the tone at home.

Let’s play ball!
