Mountain snow and rain has been falling in northern New Mexico Friday afternoon. Rain is switching over to snow around 8,500'. Up to 6" of snow may be possible above 12,000' today! Temperatures are cooler this afternoon too across New Mexico as northerly winds and a cold front are drawing down cooler air into the state. Rain and snow will end in northern New Mexico this evening. A few spotty showers may redevelop in eastern New Mexico early Saturday morning. Dry air returns to all of New Mexico Saturday afternoon. High temperatures start a warming trend Saturday across the northern half of the state, while the southern half of the state will continue
