One man was injured following a crash involving a car and a tractor in Cass County. Sheiff’s deputies were called to the intersection of Leet Road and Worrell Street in Howard Township just before 5:30 p.m. on October 23. Investigators say a 55-year-old Niles man operating a tractor was slowing to make an turn onto Worrell Street when another vehicle tried to pass. The second driver, identified as a 78-year-old Niles man, tried to pass the tractor on the left and collided with it during the turn. The driver of the tractor was injured in the crash and taken by ambulance to Memorial Hospital in South Bend for treatment.
