HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Authorities are investigating after a 13-year-old girl was stabbed multiple times at an apartment complex Friday.

The Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office says it happened at the North Vista Apartments located in the 300 block of North Vista Drive in north Harris County.

The constable’s office says the 13-year-old received multiple stab wounds.

EMS is at the scene providing treatment to the teenager.

The investigation remains active. Authorities ask people to avoid the area.
