SHREVEPORT, La. — Shreveport police are asking the public for help identifying a man who violently attacked a Walgreens employee earlier this year.
The incident occurred on May 25 at the store in the 300 block of Southfield Road. According to investigators, the violence began when the cashier asked the man for identification to purchase alcohol.
The suspect reportedly became angered, went behind the counter, and struck the employee multiple times, causing several injuries.
The Violent Crimes Unit has released video footage of the individual, but detectives have been unable to identify him despite extensive efforts.
Anyone who recognizes the man seen in the video is urged to contact the Shreveport Police Department immediately.
