LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A life-changing gift for a local veteran is in the works this Veterans Day.

A fully functional tiny home is being built by Southern Nevada high school students and will soon be awarded to a deserving veteran in the community.

"It's always been a soft spot for me. The veterans, just this whole project. Knowing what we're doing and able to accomplish has been rewarding for me," Shop Class Foundation director Matt Cummins said.
