The 2025 World Series between the reigning champion Los Angeles Dodgers and the AL's top-seeded Toronto Blue Jays is underway with Game 1 from Rogers Centre in Toronto.

Blake Snell (3-0, 0.86 ERA this postseason) got the Game 1 start for the Dodgers against the Blue Jays' Trey Yesavage (2-1, 4.20 ERA).

The Dodgers are looking to become the first MLB team in 25 years to repeat as World Series champions , while the Blue Jays are chasing their first championship since 1993.

The Blue Jays have home-field advantage in the Fall Classic thanks to finishing with a superior regular-season record. Toronto will host Games 1 and 2, along with Games 6 and 7, if necessary.
