A driver and passenger have died after crashing into a tree.

The occupants of the car were two men aged 61 and 57.

They both died at the scene on October 24.

Emergency services were called at 11am to the single vehicle crash at Bigga Road, Bigga about 80km southeast of Cowra.

Officers arrived to find a Toyota station wagon had crashed into a tree before catching alight.

Fire and Rescue NSW attended and extinguished the blaze.

Police have established a crime scene.

An investigation into the cause of the crash has been commenced.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
