Mahesh Gowda ’s choice of subject aimed at dispelling superstitions and myths on vitiligo is applaudable. Gowda, who has vitiligo, plays the lead in his directorial. Gowda has tried to convey a message on the importance of treating people with vitiligo on par with others. He removes his shirt on a few occasions, not to showcase physique, but to make it clear that there is no need to hide vitiligo. However, the pre-intermission session is a bit dreary. It seems the director was not able to come to the crux of the matter as he had taken up too many responsibilities - that of director, producer, and hero.
