BALDWIN — A Baldwin man is behind bars facing murder charges after the Lake County Sheriff Rich Martin said he shot another man at a gas station.

Martin said David Lee was arraigned Friday afternoon in a Lake County courtroom on open murder and gun related charges.

Martin said they responded to a call around 1:30 Thursday afternoon to the Wesco Gas station on Michigan Avenue.

They discovered a Reed City man has been shot to death.

The sheriff said no bond was set because of the danger to the community and the nature of the crime.

The next court date is October 30th at 10 am.
