TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV)— The Lafayette Hornets (8-1) put on an offensive performance against the Branford Buccaneers (6-3) in the Battle for the Helmet on Friday night, winning 55-7.

The Hornets scored on their first possession and never looked back, opening up a 28-0 lead in the first half.
