A family in Encino, California, experienced an unusual visit from a family of bears in their yard this week.
The bear family, consisting of a mother and her three cubs, has captivated local residents and drawn crowds eager to catch a glimpse.
Jessica Frank, a lifelong Encino resident, expressed her surprise to KCAL, KCBS , saying, "I was born and raised in Encino, and I've never, I don't think I've ever had a bear sighting."
Frank received a call around noon on Wednesday about the bear family making themselves at home in her parents' backyard.
"The most excitement we've had is a bobcat in our yard and some coyotes here and there, but never a bear, let alone three or four," she said.
