Marshall County Assessor Eric Buzzard, accused of seven felony accounts of fraudulent schemes, had his bond revoked Friday, according to the special prosecutor on the case.

Ohio County Prosecutor Shawn Turak, serving as special prosecutor, said Friday night that the state moved to revoke his bond Friday for having contact with state witnesses. The court order said he would be held without bond until further order from the court.

Buzzard was arrested in June on the fraudulent schemes charges accused of partnering with a local auto dealer to purchase vehicles for the Marshall County Commission at an inflated rate and pocketing the difference. Allegedly, Buzzard received more than $30,000 from that operation.
