Roughly 9,370 customers were without power in the Jefferson Parish communities of Estelle, Lafitte and Barataria on Friday night, according to the Entergy Louisiana outage map.

It was not immediate clear what cause the outage, which began at roughly 8:30 p.m.

Power is expected to be restored by 11 p.m.
