Kansas went on a 9-0 run to open the game up, with Louisville scoring its first point at the free-throw line nearly four minutes into the first half. The Cards took a 12-9 lead at the 13-minute mark, but that would fade as Kansas began to pull away.

The Jayhawks went on another 9-0 run to make it 30-18 before heading into the half with a 46-30 lead.

Louisville spent the second half trying to chip away at Kansas' lead, which was as much as 18. And while the Cardinals were able to make a dent, the Jayhawks had an answer for every bucket Louisville knocked down.
