The Guelph Storm scored four consecutive second-period goals to beat the Kingston Frontenacs 6-3 at the Sleeman Centre Friday night.

The loss drops the Frontenacs’ regular-season record to 7-4-0-1 and is the franchise’s eighth straight loss in Guelph.

Kingston jumped out to a 1-0 lead four minutes into the opening period on a goal by Nolan Snyder. A rookie right winger from Pittsburgh, Snyder stood at the net front and lifted a backhand glove side to beat Storm goaltender Zachary Jovanovski.

Early in the second, defenceman Andre Mondoux extended the Frontenacs ‘ lead, closing in on Jovanovski and wiring a shot past the netminder for his first career Ontario Hockey League goal.
