We’ve grown accustomed to unsubstantiated, inflammatory misinformation these past several years, and it’s only getting worse. Consider the commentary on the No Kings protests.

Many elected officials claim that protesters exercising their constitutional freedoms of speech and assembly do so only because they’re being paid to. The protesters deny being paid, and say they do so because they oppose the corruption of the present administration, because it violates the law and because they love our country.
