FRACKVILLE, Pa. — A water main break is affecting a part of Schuylkill County.
Pennsylvania American Water says it is issuing a boil water advisory in a portion of Frackville after a water main break around 9 p.m. Friday along South Line Street, affecting about 975 customers.
The estimated end date for the boil advisory is Monday, October 27th, at 10 p.m.

There was a loss in positive water pressure due to the break, increasing the chance that the water might contain disease-causing organisms.
The water company advises bringing all water to a rolling boil, letting it boil for one minute, and then cooling it before using; or use bottled water. You should use boiled or bottled water for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth, and food preparation
