HOWLAND, Ohio (WKBN) - Howland finished the season at 2-8 following their setback to visiting University School, 35-14, on Friday night.

Howland’s Davae Honzu opened the scoring with an eight-yard touchdown run.

After University School scored back-to-back touchdowns to take a nine-point lead, Carter Nielsen hauled in a 25-yard touchdown from Darren Douglas to bring the Tigers within one (15-14) heading into the intermission.

The Preppers scored 20 unanswered points in the second half to secure the win.

Douglas threw for 169 yards while Honzu ran for over the century mark with 104.

The Tigers got by East on Sept. 26 (18-14) but had fallen in each of their final four games of the regular season.

The Preppers (6-4) closed out the regular slate with four wins in their last five games.
