EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -Soon enough, Michigan State University’s campus will be packed with both the Spartan and Wolverine faithful. Roughly 75,000 of them will pack into Spartan Stadium, while the others will be in downtown East Lansing.

Michael Krueger, the owner of Crunchy’s and The Peanut Barrel, says, “It’s always super exciting to have all the old alumni in town and everyone coming out to watch the game. I’m sure we’re going to get a number of U of M fans in town, which can be entertaining at times.”

Krueger knows, with rivalry week in East Lansing, this week is unlike any other.

“I think the main difference between a normal game day and the Michigan-Michigan State game is just the intensity and the will for the Spartans to win,” he said.
