After an excellent opening frame, Trey Yesavage worked to limit the damage in Game 1 of the World Series, making some history along the way.

The Toronto Blue Jays rookie lasted four innings and 80 pitches on Friday, working around traffic to allow just two runs. In what was his fourth post-season start, Yesavage struck out five and walked three against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

His five punchouts surpassed David Price for most strikeouts by a Blue Jays pitcher in a single playoff run, with 27.
